Wassachol Sirichanthanun is a Bangkok-based writer, translator and editor with expertise in film, arts & culture, European history and global affairs.
From 2010 to date, she has written articles about film, arts & culture, European history, global affairs and mental health for renowned Thai websites and magazines, i.e., Film Club Thailand, The MATTER, Thairath Plus, Mirror Thailand, The Momentum, a day, Bioscope Magazine, and GQ Thailand.
Her fictional works include short stories. Her stories usually play with personal memories intertwined with political sentiments inspired by her profound interest in Thai political history. Her latest short story ‘The Sense of Amber’ was commissioned by the Coventry City of Culture Trust as a part of ‘Haus of Kraft,’ a project on sustainable fashion and craftswomanship. It served as an inspiration for the runway show in April 2022.
She also works as a localization editor for apps and has experience of working as a communication planner for regional cooperation projects and an independent theatre company.
